Who We Are ?

Our founder Matthew Bonham has 30 plus years experience in business and the IT & Outsourcing industry, as well as founding and running his own businesses, a career working in small and medium size businesses to large global corporates. Delivering digital and technology based solutions in the UK public sector and EMEA based private sector customers.  Matthew has held senior roles for IT Systems Integrators Sopra Steria, Fujitsu and SCC, previous to that building and managing IT service operations in a medium sized enterprise. He has also enjoys serving as a Trustee in the charity sector.

Clients that he has worked with include many well known private sector names and public government departments that feature heavily in our daily lives.

Matthew had the vision to found Revelation Technology Services to address the clear need for its target sectors to have access to technology leadership where a full time technology leader is not required or affordable. 

"We have found that some businesses and non-profit organisations believe they cannot afford to have any technology focused leadership such as a CTO role within their leadership team. This also means there is a misunderstanding of the impact of not having technology as an enabler to meet their business goals.

I believe the question organisations should be asking is 'Can they afford NOT to have a technology leader in their organisation?'

My concern is that by not having any form of technology leadership, organisations miss out on operational efficiencies, data analytics, digital presence, trust from clients around data security, integration to partners and employee satisfaction. 

All this can lead to higher turnover of employees and volunteers, leaving sales and growth opportunities on the table with partners, clients and doners. Limited business intelligence into client base and company trends, risk of technical debt and cyber security vulnerabilities. All this can lead to reduced trust from clients and employees.

At Revelation Technology Services we provide fractional technology leaders' as a service' such as a CTO, this part time model drives a lower cost against employing a full time head. They join your team and act as an employee but are paid for what your business consumes, we tailor a role scope and objectives to your business based on where you are in your technology journey. 

We have experience in many sectors and industries and have shown that our fractional technology leaders make an immediate impact in reducing further technical debt, aligning the IT strategy with the business requirements, giving confidence to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a better experience for employees and clients.
