FRACTIONAL CTO / CTO as a Service (CaaS)

Not all companies either require or have the budget for a full time Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in their organisation.  We offer this role 'as a service' on a part time basis, we call this a Fractional CTO, another industry term is a CTO as a Service (CaaS).

Providing direction on the development or evolution of your Digital Technology / IT strategy and transformation projects required to meet your current and future business requirements. 

The scope of the role and the time allocation is agreed on a case by case basis to suit the demands of your organisation. This can range from days per quarter to days per week and can be scaled up and down as required.

The type of scope for this role is broad, some examples of focus areas are:

• Board level representation for Technology / IT
• Technology strategy development in line with the organisation strategy
• Focusing the technology strategy to further the organisations purpose and goals 
• Managing the delivery of the strategy through programme and projects governance
• Building and coaching the IT technology team 
• Technical governance of business programmes of work 
• Advising on vendor / supplier selection and procurements
• Technology due diligence, making the right technology decisions
• Bringing IT together following mergers or acquisitions
• How to meet your corporate and social responsibility (CSR) through the use of green and sustainable technology 
• Delivering enterprise architecture leadership
• Implementing and enhancing productivity through hybrid working and collaboration
• Enabling your business to maximise efficiency and growth through data analytics and business intelligence
• Adoption of existing and bleeding edge technology such as Cloud, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML)
• Business application selection and implementation
